Life style of adolescent students in relation to their Academic Achievement, Gender and Academic streams

Abstract

The present study intends to examine life style of adolescent students in relation to their academic achievement, gender and academic streams. The sample consisted of two hundred adolescent students of Rohtak, Haryana. The sample was selected randomly. The obtained data were analyzed with product moment correlation and  ANOVA . It was revealed that (1) life style of adolescents is significantly positively related to their academic achievement. (2) Male adolescent students scored better on life style scale than female adolescent students. (3) High academic achievers also showed better scores on life style scale than low academic achievers.
