Academic Achievement and Creativity: A Study Amongst Senior Secondary School Students

Abstract

The study examined the relationship between types of creativity with achievemen. The sample consisted 400 students of 10+1 standard from different schools (200 from private and 200 from public) of Haryana (India) with equal number of boys and girls. Verbal and non-verbal tests of creativity were administered to the students. The correlational analysis and multiple regression analysis revealed that verbal creativity has predicted verbal subjects and non-verbal creativity has tapped  non-verbal study subjects. The findings have been discussed in the results section.
